Amazon is looking for Software Development Engineers through its Amazon University Talent Acquisition program.

The role is specifically intended for 2025 and 2026 graduates. Candidates will work on software products and services and collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.

ELIGIBILITY

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. • Intended for 2025 and 2026 graduates. • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals. • Knowledge of object-oriented design. • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures. • Knowledge of problem solving and complexity analysis. • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C/C++, Python or Perl.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous technical internship experience. • Experience with distributed or multi-tier systems. • Knowledge of algorithms and relational databases. • Ability to explain technical challenges and solutions. • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • Ability to handle ambiguous problems and think abstractly.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams. • Design and build software technologies in large distributed computing environments. • Develop solutions for complex technical problems. • Build scalable, fault-tolerant and cost-effective systems. • Design and implement software based on broadly defined requirements. • Work in an Agile environment. • Deliver high-quality software and contribute to Amazon products and services.
