As a MERN Stack Developer Trainee, you will work with experienced developers to build, test and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js. Responsibilities include developing responsive applications, creating reusable React components, building REST APIs, database operations, API integration, authentication, debugging, testing, Git/GitHub collaboration and participating in code reviews.
Selection Process
Technical fundamentals → JavaScript & React knowledge → Problem solving → Projects → Practical coding assessment → Technical interview → Communication/learning ability.
Strengthen JavaScript fundamentals, ES6+ and asynchronous programming.
Build confidence in React.js, components, hooks, state management and API integration.
Learn Node.js + Express.js and create REST APIs.
Practice MongoDB, CRUD operations and database design.
Understand authentication using JWT.
Learn Git/GitHub and basic deployment concepts.
Build 1–2 complete MERN projects and be ready to explain your code.
