  • Develop and maintain software components.

  • Write efficient and reliable code using C/C++.

  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues.

  • Work with Linux-based development environments.

  • Collaborate with software and engineering teams.

  • Participate in design, development and testing activities.

  • Analyze technical problems and implement solutions.

  • Work on networking/system-level software technologies.

How to Prepare for This Role

1. C/C++ – High Priority: Pointers, arrays, strings, memory management, OOP, STL, constructors/destructors, virtual functions, multithreading, debugging.

2. DSA: Arrays, strings, linked lists, stacks, queues, hashing, trees, graphs, sorting/searching, recursion, two-pointer, sliding window, Big-O. Practice 2–3 problems/day.

3. Operating Systems: Processes vs threads, context switching, deadlocks, mutex/semaphore, synchronization, virtual memory, paging, CPU scheduling, race conditions.

4. Linux: Basic commands, processes, permissions, shell/Bash, SSH, signals, GCC/G++, GDB debugging.

5. Computer Networks – High Priority: OSI/TCP-IP, Ethernet, MAC vs IP, ARP, TCP vs UDP, IP/subnetting, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, switching, routing, Layer 2/Layer 3.

6. Project: Build a C++ network monitoring/socket-programming project using Linux, TCP/IP, multithreading and logging.

7. Interview: Prepare C/C++ coding, DSA, OS, Linux, networking, debugging and project-based questions.

Priority: C/C++ → DSA → Networking → Linux → OS → Project → Mock Interview.
